New Mission Baptist Church Deacon's Ministry aims to serve GOD, the needs of the congregation and help support the vision of the Church to spread the Gospel of Christ. The work of the deacons is an extension of the vision that God gave the Pastor to love and care for families.

Deacons shall assist the Pastor in the observance of the two ordinances of the Church, Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Deacons are to be lovers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they are to be serious, not double-tongued, above reproach, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not overbearing, and honest. We are here to serve as needed by God, Our Pastor, our Church and Community.
